The European Union

 

I.  First, try to find as many names of European countries as possible and write them (in English) on your map.

II.Then check on that interactive map

III. And then go there and do the two quizzes :

IV.And now try and answer these questions, using the Internet (address at the end of the quest further down  ) : write the answers down on your page.

 

 1 How many countries are there in the European Union?

 2 Name three European countries which have no coasts (on the map, the countries in red have joined the EU, and the yellow ones are still candidates)

 

 3 Name two new countries from the Mediterranean

 4 Name three new countries from Eastern Europe

 5 How many stars are there on the EU flag? Will they change the flag and add stars to it?

 

 

 6 When is Europe Day?

7 Write Hungary in Hungarian,Lithunia in Lithuanian, and Czech Republic  in Czech

 8 Read the phonetics and write the name of the country
